The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Clarivate Analytics (US) for Clarivate scientific support services. This requirement is for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Innnovation and Analytics (OIA), Simulation Science Section (SSS) scientific support services. Clarivate licenses and platforms are instances of SSS. These are used to examine, summarize, and interpret available toxicological and omics studies to ascertain levels of exposure for humans that may be associated with health effects. Our studies and projects aim to provide the necessary and sufficient evidence to support a conclusion on a health effect through available data and computational predictions.. The applicable NAICS Code is 621511 Toxicology health laboratories. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to Debra Baker at xvv9@cdc.gov no later than 30 July 2024, 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST), and shall include the control number CDC-84752 and Simulation Science Section Analytical Services in the subject line.
