The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to NANOCELLECT BIOMEDICAL INC. Nanocellect Biomedical Inc. has the equipment we need to provide service for equipment that we need to maintain. The manufacturer of the NanoCellect does not certify or authorize any 3rd party service companies to work on the Wolf G2. That is due to the novelty and technical advancements of the WOLF G2 and the need for only NanoCellect trained Engineers to perform any required repairs or preventative maintenance on the WOLF G2 to ensure its OEM intended operation If any work is done on the instrument through a third party that would void any remaining warranty and/or service contract, and proper functionality will not be assured by the OEM. This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 541714 - Research and Development in Biotechnology. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
