A TissueLyser III is used to homogenize mosquito vectors in diluent, in order to extract nucleic acids for analysis. The TissueLyser III is available with an Adapter set that holds two sets of 24 samples tubes each, allowing for processing of 48 samples at once. Our work routinely requires us to process 48-96 samples in order to cost-effectively perform nucleic acid extractions and PCR reactions in 96 well plates. No other tissue homogenizer allows for processing this large number of samples simultaneously.
