This service maintains the operational readiness of a critical laboratory instrument. The instrument participates in standard laboratory operations as well as public health emergencies and requires regular maintenance and parts for consistent operation. The service engineer has expertise on the old synthesizer and has the capability to service the ABI 3900 and has the knowledge and experience to do so. They have been covering or other synthesizers for the past several years .They also have a 24- 48 hour response time and the preventive maintenance visit is included with the service contract and also have service engineer who has at least 15 experience with ABI synthesizers and other BioAutomaton Mermade synthesizers. This system is being used for the synthesis of all synthetic DNA molecules manufactured at the core facility utilized for outbreaks, kits and regular use.
