The purpose of this requirement is to procure the American Hospital Association (AHA)’s 2020 Annual Survey Database (ASDB) and the DataQuery application. The ASDB file and DataQuery application are unique; the only source of hospital information on locations and practice types with details regarding their facility type, utilization, finance, and staffing. Furthermore, as the sole proprietor of the data, Health Forum, LLC is the only source to obtain this data. This file is needed to estimate hospitals for current health occupational supply at the state and national level, track health workforce trends over time and ensure that HRSA can compare these trends from year to year.
