Data Center Preventive Maintenance Services of the Uninterruptible Power Supply System and Power Distribution Units INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE. The US Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center (PSC), Real Estate, Logistics, and Operations (RLO) intends to issue a sole source award to ALLCOM GLOBAL SERVICES, INC (Vertiv), 201 STAG INDUSTRIAL BLVD LAKE SAINT LOUIS, MO 63367 for preventive maintenance services of the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system and Power Distribution Units (PDU) protecting the 5600 Fishers Lane HHS critical data center and building security systems. The statutory authority is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(i). The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance services of the UPS/PDU protecting the facility data center and building security systems in the critical moments before the generator kicks in and during voltage spikes or voltage reductions. The preventive maintenance services ensure the UPS and PDU equipment stay reliable by ensuring components are performing to defined technical specifications thus improving their overall efficiency, extending their useful life and preventing critical equipment downtime. The services provide continuity of the preventive maintenance services and a 4 hour on-site emergency response 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to the data center UPS/PDU emergency backup power equipment. Vertiv is the only source that can provide the full range of services to fully service the proprietary equipment already installed (Liebert). Vertiv is the authorized, factory-trained and OEM-supported service provider with access to proprietary service tools and software to ensure optimal equipment performance. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE; THEREFORE, REQUEST FOR SUCH DOCUMENT WILL BE CONSIDERED INVALID RESPONSES. All responsible sources that have determined they are authorized to provide the required preventative maintenance services, including provision of authorized factory?trained and OEM service providers for the installed Liebert equipment with access to Vertiv’s proprietary service tools and soware to ensure optimal equipment performance, may submit a capabilities statement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the government.
