Questions and Answers Posted in Attachments The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is committed to advancing the interoperability of health information technology (health IT). In the 21st Century Cures Act (Cures Act), Congress identified the importance of interoperability and directed ONC to work with federal agencies within HHS and convene public-private and public-public partnerships to “develop or support a trusted exchange framework, including a common agreement among health information networks nationally.” The Trusted Exchange Framework, Common Agreement, Qualified Health Information Networks (QHINs) and QHIN Technical Framework (QTF) are distinct components of TEFCA. The purpose of this contract is to advance TEFCA in service of improving nationwide interoperability. Additional details are included in attached solicitation documents. All questions/inquiries concerning the solicitation document must be submitted by e-mail to the Contracting Officer, no later than NOON EASTERN TIME June 7, 2023.
