NIH campus wide SCADA system supports its electrical distribution system ranging in voltage from 34.5 kV to 208 V that include all the buildings that are in the current SCADA system configuration as well as any modification or addition to existing SCADA configuration. Building 11 has its own SCADA and it is excluded from this program. This campus wide SCADA system will monitor the status of transformer network protectors, transformer temperature and pressure, UPS status, main circuit breakers on 480 V distribution boards and the tie breakers on 480 V distribution boards. The SCADA system also collects data continuously for power, volts, amps, and any outage conditions.
