The National Institute of Health Office of Research Services ORF, Office of Acquisitions intends to make a sole source award to Montgomery County, DPWT, 101 Monroe Street 8th Floor, Rockville MD 20850, under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-(b) Only one responsible source and no other source will satisfy agency requirements, to procure parking services. The contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives for leasing 50 parking spaces. The fifty (50) parking spaces will be provided to the Research Services, Division of Amenities and Transportation Services at the Montrose Commuter Parking Lot. The Lot is a self-parking and open lot located in Rockville, Maryland and monitored by a closed-circuit television camera and equipped with adequate lighting. The 50 spaces are to be used by NIH permit holders with NIH identification. i.e. mirror hangtag fully displayed. Vehicles that do not display NIH identification will be subject to a parking violation Notice by Montgomery County Police Department. The primary objective is to provide contractor services and deliverables through delivery of lease parking spaces for 12 months. Interested parties that could satisfy the requirement listed above for NIH may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability in writing on or before the response date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition.
