NIH/NIEHS intends a sole-source, firm-fixed-price award to Creative Biolab Inc. to culture and differentiate cells, expand populations beyond 20 million, collect and verify cell counts, and return the cells. The work supports sequencing and analysis of the difficult, repetitive >100K 4q35 locus on Chromosome 4 using Nanopore Sequencing technology. The sole-source justification is that Creative Biolabs is reportedly the only source willing to follow the exact protocol, handle numerous cell lines, and complete differentiation within three months. Interested parties may submit capability statements for review, and the Government anticipates making an award approximately five calendar days after the notice’s closing date unless another responsible source is found capable.
