RNA sequencing and whole genome sequencing services
The National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Plasmidsaurus Inc. for RNA sequencing and whole-genome sequencing of wild-type, drug-treated cell lines and CRISPR-related samples. The work supports research on lymphoma-related MYC, BCL6, and BCL2 translocations, copy number alterations/CNV calls, and transcriptomic analysis to understand drug effects and B-cell lymphoma mechanisms. The sole-source justification cites Plasmidsaurus’s use of the latest Oxford Nanopore Technologies platform as a faster, more scalable, and accurate sequencing approach needed for reproducible experiments. The notice is not a request for competitive quotations, but interested parties may submit capability statements for government review to determine whether another responsible source could satisfy the requirement and support a competitive acquisition. The government anticipates award about five calendar days after the notice closes unless another responsible source is found capable.
