The government seeks a service maintenance contract for the Leica Stellaris 8 Confocal microscope (SN 8300000509) used by the NINDS Laboratory of Viral Immunology and Intravital Imaging (VIIIS) for mission-critical experiments and research data standardization. The contractor must furnish all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to keep the microscope in good, workable condition. Required services include at least one annual preventative maintenance visit, unlimited on-site repairs with replacement parts/components/modules, quick on-site remedial response, unlimited technical support center access, and telephone response within 2 hours. The contractor must also provide unlimited remote services and OEM firmware/software updates, with all work performed by factory-trained, certified Field Service Engineers using genuine Leica Microsystems parts.
