Obtain Clinical Cohort of Patients with Associated Clinical Outcomes, Radiologic Images, and Associated De-Identified Radiology Reports
The NIH intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Thomas Jefferson University on a sole-source basis for clinical cohorts of patients with cirrhosis and indeterminate liver lesions, including associated clinical outcomes, radiologic images, and de-identified radiology reports. The datasets are required to support AI-based research evaluating liver cancer risk and to develop, validate, and evaluate predictive models correlating imaging findings with clinical outcomes. The Government states that only the proposed contractor maintains the required unique longitudinal cohorts, including serial radiographic images collected at six-month intervals plus matching outcomes and reports, so alternative datasets would not satisfy the minimum needs. An award is anticipated approximately five calendar days after the notice response period, unless the Government determines another vendor has the capability to meet the requirement. The Government may decide whether to compete the acquisition based on responses received, at its sole discretion.
