The NIH Office of Acquisitions intends to make a non-competitive, firm-fixed-price award to Waters Technologies Corporation for a Wyatt Systems DynaPro NanoStar II dynamic light scattering instrument, including upgrades/configuration, accessories, standards, installation, training, and technical support. The system will replace an approximately 16-year-old failing Wyatt DLS instrument and must maintain compatibility with the NIH laboratory’s existing Wyatt infrastructure, workflows, and applications. Required capabilities include combined DLS/SLS measurements for particle size and molecular mass, broad measurement and temperature ranges, small-volume sample capability, and support for protein complex characterization. Respondents must provide pricing and documentation showing the offered proprietary Wyatt products/services are supplied, authorized, or supported by Waters Technologies Corporation/Wyatt Technology and compatible with existing instrumentation. Award may be made based on the initial quotation without discussions, and all offerors must be registered in SAM.
