NIH intends to issue a non-competitive, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Canon Medical Components (Irvine, CA) for the NYOX 3T Upgrade Plus to upgrade an existing proprietary Canon MRI field-camera system used with its clinical MRI system. The upgrade includes a new hardware module, associated software updates, service, maintenance, and warranty support for three years. The existing field camera is proprietary, and the required components and services must be compatible with the Canon system, available only from Canon or an authorized source. Required items include the NYOX 3T Upgrade Plus, adapter, NYOX hardware service, Field Explorer and SDK updates/seats, and tariff charges. Evaluation will consider technical acceptability, price, delivery, and the offeror’s ability to provide the required proprietary equipment, software, updates, maintenance, and warranty support; non-manufacturer respondents must document Canon authorization.
