EVOS™ M5000 Imaging System
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Thermo Fisher Scientific for one EVOS™ M5000 Imaging System and an objective starter kit, citing a sole-source justification under FAR 6.302-1. The system is required by the Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics for NIH-funded pancreatic cancer research, supporting brightfield and fluorescence imaging, live-cell imaging, and related analyses within the lab. The Government believes the EVOS™ M5000 is the only commercially available integrated system that meets all requirements without additional third-party hardware, software, or configuration. Interested parties may submit a capability statement to demonstrate they can meet the specified technical and operational requirements, though this notice is not a request for competitive quotations. The Government anticipates making an award approximately five calendar days after the response period if no other responsible source is identified.
