Illumina DRAGEN Tier 3 Throughput License and v4 Server

Notice ID:75N98026Q01167

The NHGRI Undiagnosed Diseases Program requires an Illumina DRAGEN 500,000 Gb annual throughput license and a new DRAGEN Server v4 to maintain secure, high-performance secondary analysis of next-generation sequencing data. This capability is needed when sequencing workloads exceed the CIT High Performance Computing Center allocations, supporting whole genome, exome, and transcriptome processing for rare disease patients. The existing DRAGEN server, purchased in 2017, has reached end of support; its CentOS 7 operating system lost vendor security updates on June 30, 2024, and the legacy hardware cannot run updated DRAGEN pipelines. Acquiring the new license and server is necessary to prevent analysis delays, meet NIH IT security requirements, and sustain mission-critical genomic interpretation capacity.

Illumina DRAGEN Tier 3 Throughput License and v4 Server

Notice ID:75N98026Q01167

The NHGRI Undiagnosed Diseases Program needs to acquire the Illumina DRAGEN 500,000 Gb annual throughput license and the DRAGEN Server v4 to continue secure, high-performance secondary analysis of next-generation sequencing data. The current DRAGEN server, purchased in 2017, has reached end of support, and its CentOS 7 operating system lost vendor security updates on June 30, 2024. Legacy hardware also cannot support updated DRAGEN pipelines, reducing analytical accuracy and stability. This acquisition is required to avoid analysis delays, maintain NIH IT security compliance, and sustain mission-critical genomic interpretation for patients with rare diseases. Timelines, budget, and location are not specified.
