The NIH intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to LI-COR Biosciences for an Odyssey M Imager as a single-source acquisition under FAR 6.302-1. The required system combines near-infrared and visible fluorescence imaging, trans and epi illumination, and optional luminescence detection with a wide dynamic range. LI-COR is described as the sole manufacturer and supplier of this unique equipment. Interested parties may submit capability statements to demonstrate they can meet the requirement, and the government will consider timely responses before deciding whether to compete the acquisition.
