NIH intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Miltenyi Biotec for a proprietary gentleMACS™ Octo Dissociator with Heaters and associated components. This will be pursued as a single-source procurement because Miltenyi is the only manufacturer and responsible source for the system and its non-interchangeable consumables. The notice is not a request for competitive quotes, but interested parties may submit a capability statement to demonstrate they can meet the requirement. The Government will consider timely responses to decide whether to compete the acquisition. An award is anticipated approximately five calendar days after the closing date of the notice.
