The NIH intends to award a non-competitive, single-source contract for office furniture and secure storage units to Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (UNICOR), but will consider capability statements from other interested parties. The procurement is conducted under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is expected to not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of $350,000. The furniture and storage are needed to support the Human Psychopharmacology Laboratory at the NIH Clinical Research Center, Building 10, CRC, Room 2-2352 NE, for workspace optimization and regulatory compliance.
