The Briggs LSR Section needs to purchase a surgical microscope for use during animal surgeries, supporting studies on post-stroke recovery and visual system functionality in health and disease. This equipment is critical to ongoing extramurally funded collaborative projects and translational science. If the microscope is not purchased by May 2025, the section will fail to uphold collaborative contributions, delaying progress and leaving the necessary equipment unavailable when animals arrive. The period of performance spans 2015 through 2029.
