The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) requires a study to evaluate the in vivo anti-HIV and immune-recruiting activity of a novel panel of antibody-protein conjugates (APCs) using humanized CD34+ mice. The study will measure antiviral efficacy in both pre- and post-infection settings, with in-life blood collections performed every two weeks at weeks 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 (end-point), and a terminal blood collection on day 56. A total of six study groups, each with six mice, will test five APCs plus a vehicle control. This work expands on a prior pilot study and is part of a long-term project funded by the Office of AIDS Research.
