This is a non-competitive, brand-name solicitation for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to purchase twenty Infinium Methylation Screening Array-48 Kits from Illumina, Inc. The kits are required for the NHLBI Division of Intramural Research and must be compatible with existing Illumina equipment at the NIA Laboratory of Neurogenetics, where the assays will be performed. Illumina is the sole manufacturer of this proprietary product, and no functionally equivalent alternative exists. The acquisition is a firm-fixed-price purchase order not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Performance of services will occur at the NIA Laboratory of Neurogenetics.
