Desktop OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) for non-invasive imaging of biological tissues
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a non-competitive contract to Thorlabs, Inc. for a Desktop Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) system, used for non-invasive 3D imaging of biological tissues. The system is intended to expand research capacities at the National Eye Institute’s Visual Function Core. The contract will be conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold of $350,000. Performance of services will be located at the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. Interested parties must submit responses by May 29, 2026.
