Purchase of a DMA 5002 density meter
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a non-competitive contract to Anton Paar USA, Inc. for the purchase of a DMA 5002 density meter. This instrument is needed by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) to measure the density of aqueous solutions with five-digit accuracy, replacing a 20-year-old device that is no longer operational or repairable. The acquisition is conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and is not expected to exceed $350,000. Performance will occur at the NIH facility in Bethesda, Maryland. Interested parties must submit their capability statements by May 29, 2026.
