This acquisition seeks OEM repair and on-site service for a non-operational InSight X3 DualC laser system, critical to an NIH microscope, to restore it to factory specifications. A field service technician will perform on-site uninstallation and packing, install a loaner laser for research continuity, and later reinstall the repaired system after an estimated 2–3 month repair period. The scope includes all labor, packing, insured shipping, and travel, with the vendor liable for damage up to full replacement. The service is structured as a fixed-price contract covering the complete repair, logistics, and loaner provision. Performance of services is for the DC/MD/VA region.
