This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC for a preventative maintenance and service agreement for a Zeiss Axio Scan.Z7 microscope. The period of performance is anticipated to be from August 16, 2026, to August 15, 2027, with three optional one-year extensions. The government has determined that only the original manufacturer can provide the required proprietary maintenance services for this equipment. The work will support the National Institute of Mental Health's Systems Neuroscience Imaging Resource.
