The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) intends to award a non-competitive contract to Neu-Ion, Inc. for the furnishing and installation of a replacement pretreatment system for a reverse osmosis water system in Building 49. The system must include twin parallel multimedia filters, twin carbon filters, and twin alternating softeners. The work will be performed at Building 49 to support the Central Animal Facility and multi-IC laboratories. The pretreatment system is required to remove contaminants and protect the RO membranes to ensure system efficiency.
