This is a Sources Sought notice to identify qualified, technically capable sources for a potential future requirement to acquire a high-resolution imaging system. The National Eye Institute needs to replace a non-functional Bio-Rad ChemiDoc system with a new ChemiDoc MP Imaging System (or equal) to support critical protein and nucleic acid research workflows. The project requires the system, training, installation, shipping, and a one-year warranty, and vendors must meet detailed technical specifications. Interested companies must submit a detailed capability statement addressing all project requirements, company information, and qualifications by the specified deadline. Small businesses are encouraged to respond, and for equipment, must address the place of manufacture and size status of the manufacturer.
