Title: Contractor shall provide 600 MHz Bruker Cryogenic Probe, Cryogenic Platform and Associated Helium Compressor. Description: The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM), is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide 600 MHz Bruker Cryogenic Probe, Cryogenic Platform and Associated Helium Compressor for NIH. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified sources; (2) whether they are large, small businesses; HUBZone small businesses; service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran-owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334516 and the size standards in number of employees is 1,000. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Office of Acquisition (OA) may use the information acquired from this market research to determine an acquisition strategy including small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the National Institutes of Health. Capability statements must address the organization's qualifications and the ability as a contractor to provide the requirement as described in the attached Statement of Need (SON). Interested firms responding to this Notice must provide a capability statement that includes the following: ¿ Vendor name, address, e-mail address, website address, and telephone number. ¿ Capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort. ¿ Provide details if subcontracting or teaming is anticipated. ¿ Past Performance for a Federal agency of a similar requirement in terms delivering same or similar requirements. ¿ State whether or not the acquisition of the 600 MHz Bruker Cryogenic Probe, Cryogenic Platform and Associated Helium Compressor is in compliance with Buy American Act (BAA). Interested firms should submit a Capability Statement not to exceed 5 pages (font size 10 to 12 point). A link to a website address is not an acceptable alternative to a Capability Statement.
