This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Purpose of Sources Sought/Request for Information: The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM), Center for Information Technology (CIT) is requesting information from qualified vendors to determine whether capability exists to provide the following capabilities through a software as a service (SaaS) offering: Web Authentication: Allows users to verify their identity, and access NIH –managed web resources Directory Services: Allows NIH to store and maintain information about NIH users and resources Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): Allows NIH to facilitate secure access to cloud and on-premises NIH resources by bundling network and security-as-a-service functions. This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is intended to inform the NIH on the current status of industry sources that can provide the desired capabilities. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.
