This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested based on the requirements outlined in this combined synopsis/solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to acquire commercial items using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This solicitation, 75N97022Q00035 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed price type purchase order to acquire Monographic (books) and Serials for the Literary Collections Division of the National Library of Medicine. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06 eff. 05/01/2022. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 323117 Books Printing with a Size Standard of 1,250 employees. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. The contractor must bid on all Contract Line Items identified within the attached document. The Literary Collections Division of the National Library of Medicine has a requirement to procure a number of monographs and serials as identified in the attached document. Date, Time, and Place of Offers are Due: The closing date for the delivery of a response to this combined synopsis/solicitation is on or before 12:00 PM Eastern Time (ET), on Wednesday, 1 June 2022. All questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation 75N97022Q00035 must be received in writing at the email address listed below no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on Tuesday, 31 May 2022 to allow the Government time to review and respond accordingly.
