The National Library of Medicine (NLM) of the National Institutes of Health has a requirement to establish one or more competitive Blanket Purchase Agreements for the digitization and preservation of various types of film and tape media. The focus of this procurement is to engage the services of a a vendor or vendors to digitize film of various guages and magnetic media including video, audio, and tape in various formats. These must be transferred to high-quality digital formats for both preservation and patron access purposes. The NLM does not have the in-house capacity to clean, treat, repair, or digitally preserve the range of audiovisual formats held at the Library. This notice invites all small business offerors with experience in audiovisual media preservation (cleaning, repair, digitization, developing masters) to view the documents attached to this notice and respond with an offer that meets the guidelines specified in the Instructions to Offerors by the closing due date and time. Please note that the NLM requires all offers to be submitted via the NIH Electronic Contract Proposal System (eCPS).
