Upon approval of the Jusitifcation for an Exception to Fair Opportunity Brand Name Justification (JEFO), this solicitation will be approved. The purpose of this acquisition is to renew the RSA Maintenance Services Contract that provides continued RSA Security Support. NIH is an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and consists of 27 separate Institutes and Centers (ICs) principally located in the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan Area. NIH’s mission is science in pursuit of fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to extend healthy life and reduce the burdens of illness and disability. The Identity Access and Management Services (IAM) provides essential messaging services such as email, anti-spam and anti-virus protection, instant messaging, and electronic fax, that preserve and benefit the free flow of information exchange that assists NIH in achieving its mission; (2) provides necessary IT Infrastructure needed to support, plan and implement, and restructure information technology within NIH; (3) supports infrastructure directory services and user authentication using Active Directory and provide account management capabilities to IT staff across NIH; and (4) provides additional core infrastructure services such as DDNS, WINS, DHCP and LDAP directory to ensure communication and name resolution across the NIH is accurate and available for all IT services.
