This acquisition is to procure DSI wireless telemetry mouse implants used for physiological recording of sleep states. The Neurobehavioral Core (NBC) in collaboration with staff and researchers from the Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT) need additional small animal (mouse) telemetry implants to perform studies determining if exposure to various toxicants has an adverse effect on our sleep health. Studies using the existing physiological recording equipment are already being performed within the NBC with successful outcomes.
