The Division of Translational Toxicology (DTT) at the National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS) requires support to study candidate cardiovascular toxicants in vitro in order to determine the pathways and mechanisms of toxicity in the vasculature and the heart. The purpose and objectives of this proposed contract is to utilize two in vitro assays to explore the effects of predefined candidate compounds identified as potentially cardiotoxic.
