The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), located in the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, is one (1) of the 27 Institutes and Centers composing the National Institutes of Health. The NIEHS as its primary function: conducts, fosters and coordinates research on the biological effects of chemical substances and physical factors present in the environment. The services under this solicitation will be provided to the Health and Safety Branch (HSB) which is part of the Office of Management (OM). The HSB is responsible for health and safety programs and protecting personal property at the NIEHS. Among those safety programs is biological safety which includes oversight and maintenance of biological safety cabinets and laminar flow clean benches. All cabinets and clean benches are located on the main campus of NIEHS (111 T. W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709). All work for this contract is to be performed at this location. This service contract will have a five-year (base year plus four option years) term starting March 1, 2023. See attached Combined synposis and statement of work (SOW)
