Objective supports requirements of EO 14057 for 100 percent zero-emission vehicle acquisitions by 2035, including 100 percent zero-emission light-duty vehicle acquisitions by 2027. The vehicle is required to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for Low-speed vehicles §571.500 Standard No. 500; Low-speed vehicles.
