Title: Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Global Life Science Solutions USA Inc. (Cytiva) AKTA pure 25 M FPLC System Description(s): The National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS) intends to award a Purchase Order to Global Life Science Solutions USA Inc (Cytiva), 100 Results Way, Marlborough, MA01752, for a GE Healthcare AKTA pure 25 M FCPL System, to be used in research at NIEHS, Research Triangle Park campus. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the business size standard is 1,000 Employees. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Cytiva is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required equipment and no other equipment will satisfy the agency's requirements. The purpose of this Purchase Order is to obtain GE Healthcare AKTA pure 25 M FPLC System from Cytiva. The Cytiva AKTA pure 25M is required to replace our AKTA Purifier system. Cytiva no longer supports the AKTA Purifier instrument and does not manufacture replacement parts for it either. The AKTA Purifier is no longer operating in a functional capacity and we have no recourse for repair or service. We need a system that is compatible with the one that is being replaced. The AKTA pure 25M is the only commercially available system that can meet this requirement. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting NIEHS’ requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by within 10 days of this posting, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and shall be emailed to Christopher Fisher at Christopher.fisher@nih.gov and are due within 5 days of this posting.
