This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-03. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541380, with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) Division of the National Toxicology Program (DNTP) is seeking a service to explore effects of environmental compounds with unknown developmental neurotoxicity potential in the human neurosphere assay (NSA). The anticipated contract type is a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with fixed priced task orders. The contractor shall be paid by the Government in an amount not less than a total of $5,000.00. The maximum dollar amount that may potentially be awarded over the five (5) year duration of the contract is $1,200,000.00.
