The Government intends to issue a nine-month contract extension for mission-critical services to the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) at the National Institutes of Health. The extension will run from March 31, 2026, to December 30, 2026, to ensure continuity of services for NCATS and the National Clinical Cohort Collaborative (N3C). The objective is to integrate data platforms and transition to a new architecture while maintaining operations and compliance. This action is to prevent a service lapse while the Government plans for a future competitive recompetition. The consideration of contractors is restricted, as only one source is deemed capable of providing these unique, highly specialized services.
