Introductory Statement This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to make one award, multiple awards, or no awards as a result of this solicitation. Description of Requirement Statement of Need and Purpose: The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire a brand-name or equal TrueNAS M50 Storage Platform with M50 Controller Pack, read and write accelerators, TrueNAS SCALE software (“Equipment Package”), and a 3-Year technical support plan. The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) is seeking Capability Statements from Small Business organizations under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334112, that are able to provide brand name or Equal: TrueNAS M50 series. This is a Sources Sought Notice for small business. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified business sources; (2) the availability of capable Small Businesses; HUBZone Small Businesses; Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses; 8(a) Small Businesses; Veteran-Owned Small Businesses; Woman-Owned Small Businesses; or Small Disadvantaged Businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition.
