This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is 75N95023Q00258 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The ultrasound machine is used to perform protocol required clinical and research echocardiograms and carotid studies on participants in research studies conducted on the NIA Clinical Research Unit. Approximately 15-60 minute vascular and cardiac studies are performed each week. The Philips ultrasound machine provides superior image quality, superior speckle tracking-strain analysis algorithms, and this machine is compatible with our current Philips Imaging Software (IntelliSpace Cardiovascular, formally Xcelera). Purpose and Objectives: The purpose of this acquisition is to procure an Ultrasound system.
