The National Institute of Aging (NIA) is working to create a national resource of isogenic sets of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias mutated iPSC lines, complimented by foundational phenotypic datasets from differentiated disease-relevant cells derived from these lines. This resource will substantially accelerate the pace of mechanistic discovery regarding how ADRD mutations cause disease. An automated liquid dispensing device is needed to create a high through put workflow for processing tissue culture cells to enable genetically engineered iPSCs. The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire one (1) of Agilent’s BenchCel Workstation Microplate Handler or Equal that meet all salient characteristics. The equipment must be in new condition. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that “equal” products must meet are specified in the attached purchase description.
