The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Intramural Research Program (IRP), Section on Light and Circadian Rhythms (SLCR) are requesting the procurement of Chromium Next GEM Single Cell 3' GEM, Library & Gel Bead Kit v3.1 for rapid single-cell RNA-seq library generation. NIMH NIDA OA, the procuring office, intends to issue a sole source contract to 10X GENOMICS, INC. 6230 Stoneridge Mall RD Pleasanton, California 94588-3260 United States under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to fulfill this requirement. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334516 and the size standard is 1000 employees. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 3/8/2023. Such submissions will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
