The Functional Genomics Lab at NCATS conducts high-throughput siRNA screens in collaboration with intramural investigators. The siRNAs down-regulate target genes possessing corresponding sequence complementarity. In this way, we can interrogate a specific gene’s function in the screening, and initial follow-up. In order to execute the initial follow-up, NCATS is seeking to order custom RNAi siRNA plates. These plates contain RNAi siRNA’s that have shown biologically relevant hits determined from previous screens.
