THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. A RFP WILL BE ISSUED VIA Sam.gov (FEDBIZOPPS) ON OR ABOUTAugust 1 9, 2022. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) is planning to issue a RFP for a contract for the NESARC III DNA Repository. This acquisition is not set- aside for Small Business. This acquisition is for the continued safe and secure storage, and potential transfer, of the NIAAA DNA Repository of 24,223 DNA samples (38,786 aliquots) from the NESARC-III study at the Rutgers University Cell & DNA Repository III. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be a base plus options contract. The RFP will be made available electronically via the Sam.gov website (Sam.gov). Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the Sam.gov website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. This notice does not commit the Government to award a contract. Collect calls or facsimile transmissions will not be accepted. It is the Offerors responsibility to monitor Sam.gov websitefor the release of the solicitation and any amendments.
