Background The Molecular Tracer and Imaging Core Facility (MTIC)/IR/NIBIB conducts collaborative research on development of novel theranostic agents. We need to synthesize and purify chemical compounds that we subsequently radiolabel for these research studies. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy is one of the most important techniques for analysis of chemical structure. We have a Bruker system that employs a cryogenic magnet to provide a 9.4 Tesla field. The magnet requires liquid helium refills on a routine basis which is estimated to be about every 6 months. Specifications Service/Product: Liquid helium refills for a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (System Type: AV4400N; System ID 4422128) twice per year.. Service/Product Description: The vendor will provide liquid helium and technician to refill the magnet at the appropriate intervals. The liquid helium will be shipped directly to our site for use in the fill. We will notify vendor when liquid helium level is reported by the system at 50 %. Vendor will then schedule a fill at the appropriate time. The first fill will probably be due about January 2021 Other Requirements None.
