The NIDCR, Veterinary Resources Core, Animal Facility provides animal housing, health and welfare support services in excess of approximately 17,400 mutant/transgenic/knock out/knock in rodents a year. The Veterinary Resrouces Core requires a supply contract for 1) Envigo Tek-Fresh Bedding T.7099 (QTY 1120), and 2) NIH-07 formulated Mouse and Rat Deit T.7022.15 (QTY 2120). This procurement will supply the government with a specifically formulated diet and bedding tested and approved by the NIH. Furthermore, this procurement will 1) maintain consistency in research while providing for basic animal welcare needs, and 2) provide required environmental enrichment of rodents while maintaining compatibility with exisiting equipment.
