DESCRIPTION: The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Radiation Oncology Branch (ROB) plans to procure, on a sole source basis, services necessary to maintain and provide preventive maintenance for a government-owned Konica Minolta Regius Model 110 Nano Computed Radiography (CR) system (SN: A5RE-50474; NIH Property Tag 02098829) with CS-7 control station from: Konica Minolta 411 Newark Pompton Tpke. Wayne, NJ 07470 The response close date of the notice for this requirement is in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 – Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be made pursuant to the authority in FAR Part 13.106-1 (b)(1) and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6. The North American Industry Classification System code is 811210 and the business size standard is $34.0 million. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to maintain and provide preventive maintenance for a government-owned Konica Minolta Regius Model 110 Nano Computed Radiography (CR) system (SN: A5RE-50474; NIH Property Tag 02098829) with CS-7 control station. This system produces digital radiography images for patient use and clinical trials as part of radiation therapy treatment. This equipment was procured in 2017 when the previous CR system became unreliable and was no longer supported by the manufacturer. This request for maintenance services is a new requirement. All maintenance services shall be performed on-site in accordance with the manufacturer’s standard commercial maintenance practices.
